Week 1 Story

As soon as I open up the Our Holiday Home by Tom Gauld, first thing reminds me is the previous major of mine because of the visual approach. Maybe there is nothing about this maps but when I open up the maps and KEY, picture it reminds me the landscape design.
Before I came to the US, I really had interested in designing majors however the reality doesn't fit me well.
Since I'm not a US citizens and didn't live in US long enough to fit professor's designing tastes. In China we having “location of a house or tomb, supposed to have an influence on the fortune of a family”. Therefore whenever professor give us a project ,the thing comes up in my brain first is called "风水" in Chinese which means geomantic omen. For example culture is double edge sword for the person likes me when I try to learn the whole new culture for the designing. But every single landscape design one of my professor doesn't like it at all, so my self-confident is going down by the each project, whenever I'm doing presentation I don't feel confident even though I think the project made it well enough

Landscape design made it by AutoCAD.

This is how I made when I was doing AutoCAD, I remember every single week I work more than 30 hours to finish the project, staying the night in the GouldHall, eating and sleeping in there but it end up will sad story.
After all I changed my major because I fail one of the design class otherwise I need to wait for another year to restudy the whole thing, Now I changed to completely different major from the landscape which is Economics, I figure out it is more easy to stay at home just study for the test and don't need to do the presentation for every single week.
This is how I changed my major, sometimes I still miss my previous major that's why I keep all my project in my personal PC instead of throwing off, but the reality is I don't quite fit this major since it is not easy to change myself and the culture.
